Centre manager

A centre manager is responsible for everything concerning a shopping centre, including all matters related to its commercial circumstances, authorities, finances, operations, tenants and new leases.

One of the major tasks performed by a centre manager is the management of the centre with a view to achieving any objectives established for it. This involves responsibility for the planning and implementation of any construction projects, working in close collaboration with colleagues at DEAS.

The centre manager is also responsible for the technical operation of the centre and its architectural matters, as well as managerial responsibilities to operational employees.

Furthermore, the centre manager is responsible for the budget and results, as well as developing and executing strategies for all commercial matters in and around the centre.

Other tasks of a centre manager:

  • maintaining contact with the tenants in order to achieve a high degree of tenant satisfaction

  • having meetings with public authorities about conditions that affect the centre

  • ensuring the visibility of the centre in its local environment and in the press

  • reporting to the client.
