Leasing manager (shopping centres)

A leasing manager at DEAS is responsible for the entire rental process, from determining the plan of action for the combination of stores according to the shopping centre’s strategy to the final lease, including the preparation of business cases and contract negotiation. Leasing managers often have training in retail or as real estate agents, and have extensive experience in retail or letting. It is also important to be interested in retail and shopping centres and to have an oversight over what’s happening in the area.

The leasing manager negotiates with many international clients, so international experience is a plus, and a sound grasp of English is crucial.

Our ideal lease manager:

  • has knowledge of economics and law

  • has experience in negotiating contracts

  • is extroverted and persevering

  • has a strong network

  • has a commercial mindset.
