Master of Laws
Lawyers at DEAS work independently, collaborating with other employees in the department to perform legal tasks for our clients. DEAS specialises in real estate, so our lawyers typically have experience in residential leasehold, but experience in commercial leasehold, associations’ legal affairs (homeowners’ associations and housing cooperatives), registration, construction law and the purchase and sale of real estate is more than welcome.
It is important for DEAS’ lawyers to be able to communicate in a service-oriented way, as results must be conveyed to tenants, clients, colleagues and others.
Typical tasks performed by a Master of Laws:
handling of cases
advising and supporting colleagues and clients
participation in negotiations with tenants, clients and other stakeholders
participation in residents' meetings, board meetings and general meetings
development and communication tasks.
