A technical advisor is responsible for building projects from concept to delivery, including participation in the operation and conducting a 1-year checkup of the properties.
Additionally, the Technical Advisor negotiates with advisors and takes care of tendering and negotiation with contractors.
Economic overview is important. The execution of budget follow-up concerning setting, budget, during construction cases and at the final construction accounting is therefore vital.
Qualifications DEAS expects in a technical advisor:
A minimum of five years’ experience as a technical advisor and experience executing large and small projects through all phases of construction
Training as an engineer, architect, architectural and construction manager or similar
Thorough knowledge of AB92, ABT93, ABR89 and FRI and PARS service descriptions
Carries out tasks with emphasis on lifetime consideration, maintenance and operation
Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with local authorities and end users
