Chief accountant
The primary tasks of the chief accountant involve reporting to clients, including monthly reports, quarterly reports and annual accounts.
This means they have a very versatile working day, dealing with a wide range of tasks in the field of property management. They are responsible for the entire process, from checking the balancing of all accounts, to monthly reporting to clients, and the preparation of financial statements for the client's portfolio of properties and companies. They also prepare valuations and tax statements.
A chief accountant at DEAS works closely with the account manager, administrators and project managers in the property portfolio as well as the client's accountant.
