Hobro Tinglysningsret

The Palace & Property Agency (now the Building & Property Agency) ordered the Hobro Registration Court. The building was completed on April 1st, 2009. The new registration court accommodates 150 employees and has room for approximately 400 m2 of archives. It is the first PPP project ordered by the state to be completed.

Situation

Denmark's registration offices have been replaced by one large registration court in Hobro.

Problem

Requirements for the building: The Building & Property Agency wished to collect all the registration court’s offices at one, central location. There had to be space for approximately 150 employees to have a healthy working environment. 

PPP collaboration: The building was a collaboration between DEAS, MT Højgaard and DNB.

Solution

Execution of the construction: The first stone was laid in April 2008, and a year later the first employees moved in.

Result

The result is a building of sustainable, functional quality which provides a great working environment for its employees. Both parties in the building process, public and private, have expressed great satisfaction with the project. DEAS will handle the next 20 years of operation and maintenance, as well as the management of the PPP company.
